Naah,

Just playing! I'm trying to work out the odds of Hamilton having appeared in 5 of the 9 games in the Corinthians League, when he only made 12 appearances in total up to this season! And how Tommasen, with his 23 appearances and 3 goals could have appeared 3 times and scored twice in the CL! Now that's what I call a random number generator Softie's using. :o))

Softie's League make no sense to me, and I have told him so. He reckons its easy but me swoop straight over the top of my head. Also how does Geordie work out the team pick tables???

I am hoping to get to the Derby game, how about you, going to any games?

I've not got a clue about Geordie's team pick 'cos I don't try to second guess St Bobby.

Softies league is pretty straightforward. He as a collection of (currently 231) Toon games over the last 5 seasons and draws a game at random. If your player(s) in that particular team you get so many points depending on whether he just plays, is a sub, gets booked, sent off, or scores. So far of the 9 matches, 5 have come from the 1997-8 season, so people who picked a team mainly of players who played that season will be doing pretty well. The selections should even themselves out over the 30 games. The thing that amused me is Hamilton should make, on average, 1 appearance and one sub over a 30 game season, but the little b@gger has managed to get randomly picked 5 times so far - and he's not one of the players available to select in this league.

Anyway this'll send you to sleep.

I booked my flight to Rhodes for 10th May. I'm staying with a mate who has a taverna there so it should be a LOT of fun. This will be my 10th visit so I know everyone there pretty well.

That's a big place! Where abouts? Nowhere dangerous I hope.

I wouldn't mind doing a bit of scuba diving over there - as long as the great whites keep well out of my way. :-))

Tunisia I have never been to Africa before so I am really looking forward to it.

Right I am calling it a night.

Will be around tomorrow for the game. Can't go as the house is upside down due to some major DIY.

If you are about I will talk to you tomorrow.

Come on the Toon :o)
