Dirty Blocks appears on VCD compressed with Panasonic MPEG1

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

Hi,

I have a DVD Player Philips 750. When i make a VCD with Panasonic MPEG1 (with VCD setting) and burn it with WinOnCd or EasyCd, the result on my PC is very fine. But with my DVD Player it is very dirty. Some bigs blocks appears everywhere on the picture and the result is very dirty. With Xing for exemple, the result is correct, but the picture is not nice like with panasonic.

Please, help me to find a answer !!!

No the problem well!!!!!! Ime just setting up my own website at the moment on how to encode dvd to the best quality ( mainly for use with PHILIPS CDI at the moment )I have had this problem myself, try the LSX plugin whitch i think is GREAT, The quality is'nt as good but it does take a lot less time. If this doesnt work then use an update panasonic encoder.

If u have anymore probs just E-Mail me and i will try my best to sort u out, and also i will give u my website address ( Should be online within a few weeks )

Hope ive helped,

The Falcon.
