What was this song??? (Could not find it in the FAQ section)

I looked for this song listed in the FAQ section, but could not find it. Does anyone know what the song was called that the really large man was singing in yesterday's TNT rerun? (The man with the rabbits in his apartment.) It went "I'm Vienna without the Viennese, I'm a mouse without a piece of cheese, Da Vinci without the Mona Leeze.." (or something) They played it again at the very end of the episode, and it was being sung by some jazz singer who I didn't recognize.

i believe that "some jazz singer" may have been rosemary clooney, george clooney's aunt of course, if this eppy is the one i think you are talking about. she had a recurring role on ER some 3 or 4 seasons back.

I can't help you with the song but wasn't that a fun eppy?! It had so many of the elements that make ER such a great show. And I LOVE Susan!! My hubby started tying to sing that song after the show-and he thinks he's not "hooked" on ER as bad as I am!!!!!

I think those are lines from : "You're the Top"...maybe by Cole Porter...but, I'm not sure.

I'm fairly certain that those ARE lyrics from the Cole Porter Song: "You're the Top" from the Broadway musical "Anything Goes". And Rosemary Clooney has INDEED done at least one Album/CD of Cole Porter songs, so it could have been her. I didn't see the episode, unfortunately. Hope this helps...

That song wasn't from "Anything Goes" by Cole Porter because I just saw the play and although the songs sound a bit alike, they are totally different songs!

Thanks for the responses! Although I'm pretty sure Rosemary Clooney wasn't the one singing at the end of this episode because it sounded like a black man with kind-of a raspy voice. I'll have to check out that album.

I just played Reno Sweeny in a production of "Anything Goes" and those aren't the lyrics to "You're the Top". Sorry, chica!

I'm not an ER fan, didn't see the show, but those sound like the lyrics to "I'm a poached egg" by Gershwin & Gershwin. It appears in the movie "Kiss me stupid" and it's a BLAST.
