Is there a camera on the market that takes digital stills and motion photography like a camcorder?

i have a canon dv25. it takes both still and dv movies like a camcorder. is it the best who knows??? i am new at it but it seems to work ok. the stills are NOT to the standard of a reg digital still camera.. i hope this helps
