Why is a team with some really talented players going to be relegated? Do they have a lot of crap players as well.

Anyway, beside Hugo Leal, who else in their squad isn't likely to stick around for a season in the Spanish second division.

They have some players with very good reputations, Jose Francisco Molina (GK)(Spain), Carlos Gamarra (CD)(Paraguay), and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbiank (ST)(Holland) are the players who I am familiar with. Add the Hugo Leal (AM)(Portugal), and hey don't those players play in the spots we strengthening?

Apart from Hasselbiank we should be able to afford all of them, plus Leal is apparantly available for free.

Man!?! I don't know a lot about soccer outside of the EPL, but even I recognise those names and the reputation of those players.

I realise something has to be bad at Atletico with the calibre of some of their players, but the guys I mentioned a rated highly everywhere.

Oh and I know a couple of people on here really like Alvaro Recoba from Inter Milan. Well in case they don't know it, he's not happy and is considering moving on. However with Ronaldo out for a long time he may rethink his decision whether to stay or go.
