Agent guarding first lady has gun stolen

CHICAGO (AP) -- A Secret Service agent assigned to protect first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton during a visit to Chicago last fall had her gun stolen at a hotel bar that same day, the Chicago Sun-Times reported Tuesday.

Citing statements from officials and court testimony, the newspaper said the gun was in veteran agent Mary Drury's purse under her chair when it was taken Oct. 27 at the Fairmont Hotel. Drury had guarded Clinton at the Fairmont earlier that day but was off-duty at the time of the theft.

Well that does it! We can't have people protecting the First Lady with guns if those same guns are going to fall into the hands of criminals. We MUST disarm those reckless Secret Service agents.

Hey, Tech32, how have you been? Haven't seen you post here much. How are things in Northern Jersey?

FutureShock,

I've been posting mostly at the new EZBoard. I like the software better and I don't miss the troll-wars one bit. I still come back here a few times a week though...

Not to worry, I'm certian that agent Mary Drury had her trigger lock on and the gun unloaded with the ammo kept at least 10 minutes away in a separate locked cabinet, maybe in the trunk of her car. I'm also sure that the gun in her purse was locked in a super secret purse gun safe, designed especially for female and female impersonator agents.

So there is really no cause for alarm. No, wait her make-up may be missing!!
