I am doing a literary criticism research paper on "The Black Cat", "Tell Tail Heart", and "Cask of Amontillado". Please give me some ideas (3 Preferable) on how I can relate these stories together. So far I know they are all written in first person singular and they both contain murders that were driven by insanity. -PLEASE HELP ME-

In all 3, the victim is either buried behind a wall, or under a floor board. (I just did a term paper on him).

Well....i will try and help you...in all three of the stories i noticed that the victim of the narrator was hidden away in some compartment...catacomb, floor boards, and in the brick wall....

Another thing is that the narrator was driven to maddness by someone or something in the story....arrogant friend, evil eye, the cat....

Well that's about all i can think of right now...if i think of anymore i'll tell you...

All three were all premeditated murders meaning they were thought out and planned

I would have to disagree with the last answer. The murder in "The Black Cat" was not premeditated. The narrator actually intended to kill the cat, not his wife.
