I4m thinking to chance my complete equipment. The Fuji seems to be finally a good subtitution, with 6 Megap. I would like to know the colordepth of this camera, as well I downloaded the sample-images. I recognised lots of noise in the backround. Witch lens was used? Will there be an image with less noise under different settings of the camera? Where can I get other example-images?

Please help!!

You should really wait before forming any strong opinions of the S1: Any pictures you've seen thus far have been taken by *very early* preproduction units. Fuji's promised us one to test, but so far still only have one unit in the US, and that's a very crude hand-assembled unit. Don't know when to expect one to test, but I'm hoping sometime in the next 3-4 weeks. Until then, don't pay too much attention to *any* image-quality issues, or look too hard at images you see anywhere on the web...
