Finally found a slave strobe that the manuf said will work with the Coolpix cameras, and any digital as well. It can accomodate the double flash pulse that the cameras use. It is the Digi Slave from SR Electronics www.srelectronics.com 1-800-324-7745 or 1-972-255-7490. Good luck and say goodbye to those underexposed pictures.
