Hi there,

i bought a used FS-1, inserted some alkalines and tested the body. Now, the front light always is on. I tried to use the self timer, but the light never stops. Another problem are the flashing diodes in the finder. As I read in former messages the FS-1 this is caused by low voltage ( by using new alkalines?)

Dieter,

Putting weak batteries in my FS-1, I could not duplicate what you describe. The viewfinder LEDs flash, but the self-timer light being always lighted indicates a probable trouble. If it were mine, I would return to the seller..
