Half day holiday today so I'm whiling the last hour away before enduring the M1, M18 and A1 to the promise land!

No point in starting anymore work now is there?!

Cutting the hedge the morra (so no change there then). Then M56, M6, M42, M40, M25, M26 to Kent followed by M26, M25, M40, M42, M6 & M56 back home on Saturday (2nd time this week!). Early start on Sunday to travel to Toon.

Ee - isn't life exciting.

Jay,

I could've sworn you pulled your kitchen floor up the other day?!?! I reckon you're making it up just so that your life sounds exciting... ;)

I'm trying to persuade a certain young lady spy to give me back my favourite NUFC T-Shirt....I might have to shoot her to get it though :)

No the wood was only delivered on Tuesday, the floor comes up and the new one goes down tomorrow.

I put a wood floor down in the conservatory though.

Then is the front bedroom to decorate. Its all go in my hoose ;o)

Am I taking his life in my hands by bringing a scouse friend to the Leeds game ? Or am I taking MY life in my hands by admitting it in the first place, judging by the pleadings for tickets ?

Mitigating circumstances are that it wouldn't have been a spare anyway - my son would have used it. He took some persuading to give it up, bless him, and he only agreed in the first place when I told him that cos it was on Sunday it must be on Sky. Oops.

Keep forgetting that footballers need two days off after each shift they work.

Working Friday till 2.00pm....then Saturday off up to the Golden City....sorry Screacher, I go the slow way.......M40, M25, then A1 all the way with several "are we nearly there yet" and "I wanna go to the toilet" stops along the way......mind you that's just the missus....the kids are even worse! Then across the Tyne Bridge rather than the tunnel, can't arrive in the Toon any other way, Coast Road to Tynemooth, and along the front from the Rex to WBCP.....

Will probably make the Strawberry on Sunday for about 2.00....any problems getting in at that time....or will I have to watchg see you all through the window? (;0)

Jay,
Are you doing the kitchen single handed ? Don't envy you that little job if you are. And are you expecting to finish it all over the weekend ?

Bored at work so messing around with HTML - see Tee hee thread.

Considering a trip to the training ground on Saturday, then to the Strawbeery and the match on Sunday.

My dad and I are doing it. We put the kicthen in so it should come out okay. Should all be done by Monday (I hope)...Mind I am buggering off on Sunday for the game. He is not a happy camper

I'm just watching Star Dudes all day....Star Wars in Flash in 5 minutes. Here!
Does that contribute to being sad....(no Motorways, A roads or B roads were harmed in the making of this film)

Jay,
I'd be a bit unhappy as well, if the help did a runner halfway through the job. :-))

You'll just have to make it up to him somehow - free beer for the rest of the year, or something.

Lots of beer, pies and a couple of computer mags works every time ;o)

Well, I'm sitting here waiting for the taxi to take me to Baltimore Airport, and then to Scottsdale AZ to stay with my former boss for a few days. It's a little 'warmer' (ca.90 dgerees) there than I'm totally comfortable with, but after the inclement stuff we've had in Washington it will be lovely.
Playing golf on Friday and Monday on an excellent course, and we're considering an overnight trip to Grand Canyon. Other than that we'll be shopping, eating, and lazing around the pool with frequent G&T's to keep us going. Doesn't sound too bad does it?
Nevertheless, I'll miss the game on Sunday and will be thinking of you all, both in the Strawberry, and those huddled around their PC's for commentary and regular postings.
Howay the LadsBe in touch soon.

Enjoy Scottsdale, Clarky! I hear it's absolutely beautiful there. And the Grand Canyon is a must. Even if you only spend a few hours..it's breathtaking and well worth the drive! A couple of us did it from the Los Angeles direction a few years ago. Didn't have time to go further into AZ.
