My Personal Play Report

Hi Guys:

I thought this page could use some cheering up so here's my recent play activity at a local hole-in-the-wall.

There is a great little place right on my way home from work at night called Six Card Charlies. It's a funky little tavern with only 6 so tables. They have one $2 table, one $3 table, and a few $5 tables. They have a wonderful 6-deck game. Excellent rules, surrender, doa, das, if you get six cards without busting you automatically win (Six Card Charlie). When someone gets a Six Card Charlie everyone in the place gets a raffle ticket and the winner gets to play a hand of video poker on the ole big screen T.V. or for even more excitement they sometimes have a drawing where you can win luxurious prizes such as a big old silver belt buckles. I don't know about you, but I just can't seem to get enough of those little puppies!!!

The best part is they cut off 2/3 of one deck or less. The bad news...the table limit is $25.

The good news is I have been having a ball with this whimsical little game for the last 8 months or so. The owners and dealers are all very hospitable.

The best news is they plan on raising their limits when they can afford it!

For now it's the best game close to home and it also has been a nice little money maker. I usually don't buy in for more than $60, you won't find any high rollers here my friends! I never take more than I need so when I double my buy in I go home, usually stop once or twice a week.

You can see some of the silliest plays in all of Washington state here. They will split anything just because they can. I am the only person in the casino usually that uses surrender, most don't know what it is, even though the sign says it's available. Yee hah!

Hope life is well with all out there!
