ST.PETERSBURG, April 12 (Itar-Tass) - Two freight trains collided at a crossing in the Pskov Region, Itar-Tass learnt on Wednesday at the North-Western police department for transport.
The incident took place at the Pskov-2 station at around 03:00. Two trains collided at a switch-controlled crossing. One of them hauled 58 tank-cars with diesel fuel, and the second one was speeding head-on with 56 empty tank-cars. Three empty tank- cars went off the tracks. One engine carrying fuel was damaged. There were no casualties.
