Great blue heron, again?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Nature Photography Image Critique : One Thread

This picture was taken with Canon Elan IIe, 400/f4 IS + 1.4TC, Provia F. The aperture was at f5.6. I took this image at Greenfield lake, Wilmington, NC. Any comment are welcome. What is the best way to crop this image or just leave it as it is?

And Windoze guys, please show some restraint with filenames... I am not picky, but newgreatblue1softsmall copy.JPG is just too much :). Not to mention that the space in the filename cofuses browsers (and must be replaced by %20 in URL).

Sorry about that Adrei. There are so many version of this pictures that it makes me confused myself. Actually the long name came from my attemp to make this picture file smaller.

Nice shot. I would crop out the space behind the heron. It serves no purpose. The exposure is good, but the image could be sharper. What kind of tripod are you shooting off of?
