MEXICO CITY, Apr. 14 (La Jornada/Infolatina)-- Energy secretary, Luis Tellez, warned that a shortage of turbines on a global scale places future supply of electricity in Mexico at risk.

Due to the strong demand for machinery the government has not been able to buy turbines, forcing it to modify its strategies for growth in the sector. The shortage of turbines has caused a 30 percent rise in their price while it costs ten million dollars to order them.
