--Dennis, look at the bottom of any "post a topic" page when you are filling in for a post, or creating a new topic. there's a new activated feature on the board that allows you to add a voice message. It requires some plug in. I was freeked out the first time I saw it, too, because of the automatic nature of the download that occured to me. I thought it was a troll hak attack, because the size of my screen didn't show me the little message insert box thing at first, so I quick rebooted. Now that I know what it is I'm not as upset, but tell ya, for a sec there I was hoppin mad. I don't like internet "surprises". I'm not rolling in dough for backup computers, or have some IT guy standing by to fix my computer, or some big company to hand me a new one. With the political nature of the boards I go to, and my "views"--hehhehheh-, I just like to be careful. I anticipate any despotic serious takeover bid to be somewhat preceded with a generalized cyber/internet attack, and/or to me personally, or to sites that comment against the current regime whatever. Stop the communications in other words, cut off a good tool, and automatic "surprises" would be one way to do it. I think it hit a few others here the same way. In hindsight, a days notice would have been nice from the sysops if this was possible. It might just have ben an automatic upgrade from ezboard that happened, I do not know, either way I think it was just a little unsettling. I'm over it now.
