Tried - yes, uninspired - yes, Given, Aaron H, Goma, Howey, Domi, Solano, all not good enough - yes. Nothing on the bench - hell yes. City were a much better team than I thought, they played very well. We were just shite on the day.

It's dire isn't it....

Just over a week ago we were talking FA Cup Final, Possible top 6 finish and also expecting to finish above the mackems...

Only the foolhardly or terminally optimistic would think that we could finish above the mackems now....

Gav....I'm probably foolhardy and am always the eternal optimist, but I still reckon we WILL finish above the Mackems.

Alright we were cr@p on Saturday, but the remainder of our run in is a hell of a lot easier than theirs.

Leeds and the Arse are our two most difficult, and they are both at home:

Leeds, straight off the back of a EPL 4-0 home slapping, not a 2-0. Coventry, shouldn't be too problematic and.... Arse, completing the home programme the most difficult of the lot.

The Smoggies and Bald Eagles dying swans are the two reminaing away fixtures, and neither should be massively difficult.

Still 15 points to play for and I think fifteen points gained.

As far as the Mackems are concerned, I can't see them getting more than four points Max from their remaining games.

Can anyone confirm that YBR has shut the training ground/session to the public this morning......heard it on the grapevine.....sounds like a massive bollocking for everyone if it is true.

ITK,

We LOST AT HOME to LEICESTER!

Now surely with their injury problems that should've been a home banker????

If we can lose that we can lose em all....

Sorry to argue Gav but using that principle......if we can beat Newton Heath we can beat them all.........

Every team needs a home beating by a 'smaller' club evey now and then even if it is just to get them back on track.

Alright, we also lost at home to Villa first game of the season, but that were uner the stewardship of the Dutch Git..and lets face it, IF we HAD beaten the Makems on August 25th he would still be there and YBR would be just a dream.......the only other team, before Saturday, to go to SJP this season and get full points were Chelsea.

Saturday was bliddy awful......but it came at the end of a bliddy awful week....lets not get too carried away with things. ;0)

Big Dunc was missing and it showed on Saturday, not everyone is convinced about his ability but he wins so many knock-downs and creates so much space his sheer prescence is enough to win games. If he is going to be out then we need a contingency to work with Al, Ketsbaia & Robinson are not up to it.

Unless Bobby is keeping them inside, how can the session really be closed? It's pretty wide open spaces. though I suppose it's easy enough to keep people far enough away so as not to hear the verbal tongue lashing. ;-) Though a far more effective session might involve dissecting videos of the last 3 games(WHam and Leicester especially) and going over what was right, what was wrong, and reminding them that there's still pride to play for. Also they owe the supporters good performances for the remaining games and a league placement higher than 13th to end the season!

For what Leeds has been through, I really want them to beat Galatasaray and go through to the finals. On the other hand, that might give them back enough confidence to turn us over on Sunday. Hmmmmm. I'll still be hoping Bobby can work the magic he's worked all season and get our own lads back on form again.
