I just bought a Nikon 950 and after taking some photos i went to the computer to down load them. Iam using the serial port 9 pin conection and NIKON VIEW software and HOTSHOT software. The HOTSHOT SOFTWARE doesn't reconize my NIKON 950 camera so I can't down load from HOTSHOT. The NIKON VIEW lets me down load to computer but can't save to FLOPPY. Can you help ?

ron can you save to the desktop, or to a folder on the desktop? If you're trying to save to a 3.5 floppy keep in mind that they are limited to 1.44 memory--do you have a zip, or something else with larger memory, which you can download to? Have you insured that all of your divers are downloaded properly? I'm not familiar with the Nikon stuff-We use the Canon/Kodak which requires us to acquire the image to full resolution. Fred
