Farming Montana--Occassional hard work and long hours? I thought Shakespeare was the writer of the greatest Oxymorons till I read that ! You forgot to mention 2 season farming--winter and next winter ! LOL--we have a place near Armstead, Montana were men are men and sheep are scared.

I live in beautiful upstate NY (Adirondack Mts.) & have misc. handyman work to get help with this summer..I'd exhange room and board for one person, for the help. I live in an underground home, garden, misc. building projects, along with the chance to hike, fish, hunt, canoe & enjoy solitude and fresh mt.air. Any takers? No smoking and I'd like a few references.

My husband and I and our children live in the panhandle of Nebraska. We would love to have a job working together on a ranch that maintains the countryside philosophy. My husband currently works on a cattle ranch as a Ranch Hand. I stay at home with our children (we have 3 and one due in November), and take care of our chickens, horse, cats and dog, and our garden (at least what is left after the grasshoppers invaded). We would love to be able to expand our animals to a Jersey milk cow and 2 milking Oberhasli Swiss Dairy Goats. We also would like to be able to acquire more horses. We are not afraid of hard work. The only thing is, is that my husband does chew Copenhagen. We do not believe in any drugs at all. And one question, do you not allow any hunting on your property, or prefer that the person you hire does not hunt at all. We do like to get a deer a year mostly for the deer jerky. If we can be of any help to you, please e-mail us back to let us know. Looking forward to hearing from you.
