Has anybody here beaten the game with a first generation monster? Just wondering because, damn, I want to train that monster! :

I have beaten the game with a first gen Golem, Durahan, Hercules, Phoenix, Blue Kato and Flare Death. It just takes skill man.

To beat the game with a first generation monster isn't exactly hard. It just requires a good raising technique. All monsters even, even ones that people think suck, as first gen. monsters have potential to win the game when they are raised properly.

Troron is the way to go if you want a first gen monster to win the game. That is how I did it.

I've beaten the game with a 1st gen Gaboo, Wracky, Mocchi, and Golem. It's tough, but not impossible.

I have beaten the Legend Cup with almost all 38 breeds. I still have to beat it with Naga, Wracky, Plant, Centaur, Ducken, and Zilla. When I have a couple of days to myself, I will gaurantee that list will be drastically shortened! The Man took the words right out of my mouth. ANY monster can beat the Legends Cup if properly raised. Even a Color Pandora!

At the moment I've beaten the game with these first gen monsters(and who they beat): Golem(Suezo), Zilla(Most), Baku(Suezo), Ducken(Suezo), Wracky(Suezo), Durahan(Most), Beaclon(Most), Kato(Most), Henger(Suezo), Bajarl(Most), Niton(Suezo), Hare(Most)

I've slowed down a bit as I'm currently working more on finding awesome combos to keep up my BAD A$$ durahan. His last incarnation started with over 1700 points with ~500 Defense, ~450 Life, and ~480 Pow as well as ~100 Int, ~60 Speed, and ~150 Skill!!! I was FLOORED! He's currently a Durahan/Golem and soon to be a Durahan/Mock. But I agree with the others, once you figure out how to beat the game, any monster can do it easily. In fact, too easily. Just use RNA/Wildcard's technique(either one) or something similar and it'll be a snap. Personally I use a mixture of the two techniques because I enjoy more battling than RNA allows however going to EVERY battle with Wilcard's technique really hurts the lifespan and doesn't actually help until you get to at least B/A class.
