rare ??? monsters

Hi. You know how on the monster cards, they have a rank on them (E,D,C,B,A,S)? I was wondering if in order to get a special monster, would you have to be a trainer of that rank in order to unlock it? My aunt has that TLC Fanmail CD, but I didn't get a silver suezo.

the letter (E,D,S etc.) are the rareity of the monster. no oyu just have to have unlocked that monster, also not all cd's have rare S/??? monster. it just those Cd's are the type of Cd's that would give that monster (eg. Beck's Mellow Gold can give you MOO if you're luckly but if you aren't you get Mummew {Mew/Pixie})

Like any monster of a given breed you need to complete the steps to unlock that breed before you can use the CD. The rarity on the card is a general guage of the commonality if the breed, but not all /??? have an S card. In fact, I've only seen one S ranked ca

To give a clearer answer, as long as you've unlocked a monster's main breed, you can access the Mystery Mix version of that monster (for instance, you must unlock Durahan before you can get Shogun or Ruby Knight). Since Suezos are unlocked from the beginning of the game, you could unlock it from that...but it looks like you have the wrong copy of the Fanmail CD. Which monster comes off of a CD is determined by the serial number on the back, and apparently, your copy of Fanmail didn't fall into the range of numbers that gives the Silver Suezo. Tough luck...try borrowing a friend's copy, if you can.
