I'm writing this for the benefit of the bbs as a whole (which we all value so much). I guess I'm also doing it to get Gav, LR and anyone else off the hook who may have been accused or even thought of as the imposter of the artist formerly known as Tre (who henceforth shall be known as 'The Real Tre'). For the imposter was none other than I .... at least it was yesterday (on the DUNCAAAAAN thread). I honestly have no idea which person(s) originally pretended to be him, on the Boo Hoo II thread. Although I'm big enough & ugly enough to cop any flak hoyed my way, let me at least assure anyone who may have been unsettled by events that there was nothing sinister on my part. Roz I contacted straight away at the time as soon as it became apparent that she was pissed off (and, BTW, you're very welcome pet :) Impersonating Tre was intended as nothing more than a harmless wind-up. It obviously wouldn't appeal to all senses of humour, but there again may do to any who finds the crucifixion scene from the 'Life of Brian' a hoot (eg. "My name's Brian." "No, MY name's Brian!" "Don't listen to them - my name's Brian. And so's my wife's !!"). In otehr words I thought it would be a laugh for someone to again be Tre, but to do it in a way where (this time) it wouldn't be possible to suss out who 'The Real Tre' was. Added to which would be TRT seemingly having a conversation with himself - perhaps not for the first time eh mate ;->>. As soon as Tre threatened to actually post Yelli's emails to him then I pulled right out and emailed both Roz and him to let them know the score. Should this ever make it to a bbs trial :(( , in my defence it was actually me suggesting to Tre that posting the contents of a private email may not be such a good idea on a public forum. Anyway, definitely no harm intended and hopefully none done. Roz is obviously more than able to talk for herself, but I suspect part of her reaction yesterday was the culmination of reading the two Boo Hoo threads involving her daughter.... In summary, there's a long history on this and the former bbs of people 'assuming' the identity of others. I explained and apologised for any concern at the time to the two people involved, but I wanted all of you to understand that there was nothing more to it than that. I am a nice guy, honest. I am unfailingly kind to little furry animals and never, but never stomp on little old ladies. Or the other way around. So waddya say folks ?? As I said yesterday....probably just a prank gone a bit wrong, it does seem harmless at face value but it's very unsettling to think that you're talking to someone and then find out you aren't....maybe it's just me! cos I've got a little image in my mind for each and every one of the people on the bbs and I suppose that some of my responses are a little tailored to how I think they will react....I'd never give anyone half the shit that I give Grant :))

As for kind to furry animals....I've heard that about you lot down under ;) hehehe :))

No need to prostrate yourself at my feet Loony Toon. No harm done - (:o) But, if confessions are the order of the day, I have to confess to a degree of overreaction on my part - an accumulation of one or two other rather taxing problems on my mind (BTW non-footie and non- daughter related). However, the totally stressed out, headless mother hen, is no longer hovering round at ceiling level, and my tail feathers are totally unruffled! (:o)

Cheers mate. I know I over reacted to. However I was jacked off about the posts on the other threads. I agree that I have a mental image of most people, even if their irl selves looking nothing like my menatl picture (yeah Rik's self portrait was a let down, Softie was pretty much as I pictured him), and what jacked me off that the person imitatimg me was changing mine.
