my undefeated pixie greenspun.com : LUSENET : Monster Rancher 2 : One Thread -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- well, here i am back again braggin on one of my pixies. i never have had an undefeated monster. pitiful, eh? well, thru 440 yrs of mr1 and 190 yrs of mr2, someone has always beaten my monsters, even my champeeens. until now.

all hail lisl, a pure pixie, bred from lily, my lilim, and sunni, my phoenix. she started with 500 int, 350 ski, 250 spd and slightly less than 100 in the other categories. she finished 268 lif/134 pow/994 int/871 ski/879 spd/420 def. 57 w/ 0 l/ 55 ko.

she only needed one reset her whole life - for some reason, she decided to lose to lamsweet her first try at the a lev official tourney, with that having become a bad dream, she demolished him in real life...;-)...and went on to have no troubles with anyone else.

to all y'all newbies. don't be confused by the posts about maxing out your monster. that is a separate pasttime, not necessarily connected to gaining levels in the game. i am convinced that with 900 pow or int[depending on the monster's specialty], 800 ski, 800 spd, 400 def, 250 lif, 150 pow or int[the other that isn't 900] you can run the table v the game monsters. for those keeping score at home, that's a composite 3300.

440 yrs of MR1? What was your best monster in that game? Your pixie's stats are almost the exact same as my best pixie but mine has about 500 POW. I couldn't get its DEF up past 500. Didn't you have trouble training that?

it was either an angel or a kuro, with int and ski maxed, and everything else 400-600. and the pixie swam alot! . i shoulda named her summer sanders or something.

Way to go Torey!!!!!And well said.Haven't trained a pixie since my very first monster kept running into the cliff on the second week of the Withering errantry.(She was only 3 months old and soon ran away).Maybe I should try again.

Try a Pixie/Durahan...for some reason, my Pixie's strength was power and I was able to get her up to 999 on power and skill, and was able to get speed up to 650. Not bad for a first generation Pixi
