The West Ham game

Will anyone be sharing the joy of Newcastle United climbing to eighth place in the league by logging on here tonight? As for the team news, Robson has virtually announced it saying that He will be keeping the same goalie, but playing Harper again soon (saturday). He also says that the rest of the team will be virtually as it was against Chelsea in the second half of the game, with Dyer playing just behind Shearer. There will be one change though as Goma will come in for Either Howey or Dabizas, He will also retain Goma for saturday with the other rotated central defender being replaced. Gavilan will still be on the bench, but will no doubt come on in the latter half of the second half. With all this info comming out, it seems pointless having a team pick for todays fame. It would seem that Robson is prepared to have a good look at Goma. I hope the lad does well and stays clear of injury. He looked pretty good before he got injured and I imagine he will be better when he plays with a confident team.

I'm not sure about Shearer effectively playing on his own up front but he was amazing on Sunday, so what do I know?

The Hammers have got more injury worries and will probably play three at the back. So if Shearer is the only one permanently up front that will confuse the other two centre backs!

Dyer, Solano and Domi running at them should be a feast to watch if they can link up well.

There has been more and more talk of the 'if we win' variety and as I'm sure Kegsy will tell you, that is and has been very dangerous in the past. So lets look at the table after matches.
