I have a term paper about Edgar Allan Poe and need as much help/info. as I can get. In the poem "To My Mother" I'm confused about who "mother" is. Is it his adopted mom, grandmother, or mother in-law?! And I can't seem to find many poetic devices in this poem either. HELP ME PLEASE!!!
