BART experienced systemwide delays for hours Monday morning after an electrical fire at the Glen Park station.

A BART spokesman says service was fully restored in San Francisco at 9:04 this morning.

A problem that sparked an electrical fire at Glen Park at 4:15 this morning has been isolated, according to Mike Healy. He says crews willl be investigating the cause of the problem.

Trains from the East Bay were offloaded at the Montgomery station, and service between Daly City and downtown San Francisco was suspended because of the Glen Park closure.

Passengers reported being inconvenienced by electronic signs at stations that flashed incorrect destinations.
