Not naming any names, but most of the loudest postern blasts were preceded by the rustling of a bean bag (appropriately named). Also, some of us were very particular about not having beans with breakfast in the greasey spoon, as a mark of respect for those unfortunates who didn't survive the overnight gas attack. I slept in the hall but seemed to miss the worst of the draughts. Screacher claimed that he forgot his 'lucky keks', but I wouldn't be surprised if they had simply done a runner...

Huh - I take a couple of days away from the BBS and when I return, I find my name bandied around all over the place. Well, it wasn't me sleeping on the bean-bag. Softie was in the hall (best place for him) and Dr Bill was dreaming of the kitchen chair. The guy on the bean-bag was none other than.......no, I can't say. The answer my friend, is blowin' in the wind. Mind you, he's an "Ace" guy.
