Anyone go to the reserves last night? This is from Teamtwaddle:
Paul Robinson ended a six year wait to score against Sunderland as the reserves clocked up a 3-1 win over the Mackems on Monday. An all ticket crowd at Kingston Park watched the FA Premier Reserve League match, with both sides boasting quality players. Newcastle included Andy Griffin, Silvio Maric and Stephen Glass while Sunderland fielded the likes of Thomas Helmer, Nicky Summerbee and Honduran Milton Nunez, who opened the scoring after 18 minutes. United's David McMahon equalised after 34 minutes before Robinson smashed the ball home from long range. Substitute Kevin Gall secured the three points with the Magpies third. Robinson claims: "I've waited six years to score against Sunderland, but it was worth the wait. It's a shame the gaffer wasn't here to see it, but he'll find out about it soon." Coach Tommy Craig was delighted: "We showed a lot of commitment and desire and we finally ground Sunderland down. Paul Robinson is frustrating at times but he has real quality and he's always capable of producing that kind of spectacular finish." Robinson started the derby match at St.James earlier in the season when Ruud Gullit was in charge but found himself on the transfer list under Bobby Robson, but since then he has settled his differences with the former England boss.

Are any of the bairns Geordie, we have three Scots that I know of, Kerr and the Caldwell brothers, Gall is Welsh and McMahon is Irish. Robinson is a Mackem and Shola is Nigerian. I know Stuart Green is English, but is he a Geordi. The only one I know of is Michael Chopra.

But I don't really care as long as most of them turn into right cracking players and help win the league, the FA Cup and something in Europe.

I'm not asking for mutch really, am I.
