WEMBLEY SET TO HIT NEW DELAY The redevelopment of Wembley Stadium could be put back for another year as the wrangle over the cost of constructing the new stadium continues. Brent Council are set to announce the result of the planning application to rebuild the famous north London stadium on April 25. But unless Wembley stump up another #30million to improve rail and road links around the stadium, the indications are the decision will go against the consortium hoping to develop Wembley as the showpiece of the 2006 World Cup bid.
