Title: Pedestrian Struck By Train In Durham

DURHAM (WRAL) -- Durham police are investigating a fatal accident involving a pedestrian and a train.

An Amtrak passenger train struck a pedestrian near the intersection of Angier Avenue and Carter Street at 9:30 p.m. Sunday. Police have not released the name of the victim.

Officials say 74 people were on board. The train was headed to Raleigh.
