incredible show. it was held in a basketball court in wabash college (as you guys probably know if you've been reading the posts). there were probably 500 or so people there... they said they sold 1500 tickets but i really don't think so. we were right up against the barricades (yes, barricades... ugh) for joe 90's set. as soon as they ended, we ran for our lives for the open end of the court. lol, actually, it wasn't too horribly scary... there were a few people crowd surfing during joe 90's set though. :-/ the crowd was fairly calm (calmer than expected anyhow) but just reeeally drunk. oh well. ummm... i think kristin or chrisnotseefried has the setlist. off the top of my head (not in order): drive, truth, road, when i die, when you arrive, the new song (i forget the name... it's the one they've been playing), reachin'... am i missing anything? reachin was just... i have no idea. it was a moment... definitely a moment. just completely and utterly perfect.

i felt so bad because the guys were so tired. they stayed with us all until 12:10 or so, though. we got to the college around 5 and adam let us come in at 6 to watch soundcheck and stay warm (it was so cold.. brr). doors opened @ 7 and the concert was supposed to start @ 8 but they kept postponing it... it finally started @ 9. joe 90 played about 30 mins. gary left us alone at the merchandise table for like... an hour. he said, "will you watch this while i go down to the basement?" and i swear he added, "real quick"... hehe, it was okay though. people kept asking us for pens. then some guy tried to buy an outkast shirt from us. we should have taken his money but that would have been mean.

this is entirely too long... what else? we took lots of photos. britt is getting them developed and scanned tonight i think. they were trying to help me with the lyrics to "when you arrive" but i couldn't remember which parts i couldn't remember. i had written down what i knew but i left it at the hotel. blah. chris told me the bridge... which i remember absolutely nothing of now... but it was so much prettier than i thought.

anyway. i'll leave stuff for everyone else :) it was great.

Thanks for writing this Jess, cause now I don't have to!!! All I have to say is, I can't wait to go back!:) You missed all of the crazy stuff Craig was doing!! With the cookies, he thought it would be funny to sell the cookies we bought them for $5... and the water bottle (sorry for stealing your water, gary...Craig said I could :) He even wrote my name on it.. heh) and how Craig wrote all over us... and how I told Craig I shoot drugs (only because of my bruise from giving blood)... and how we all made fun of Outkast... woo. that was so fun :) those were the scariest peopleI have ever seen in my life. They were scarier than the Buzz Poets!!! ahh...
