I think it was early this season that Kerry kicked Carter out, so where did Carter live between then and now? He had to have JUST started living with his grandparents (It took me a few times to catch that he said he was living there) because as everyone knows, they weren't speaking before. I missed a few episodes this season, so does anyone know when and if they mentioned where he was staying before? Anyways, I kind of wish he were on his own, so that he can make just visits to his grandparents, if that makes any sense.

Good question Elaine! It was the episode when Romano is named Chief of the ER that Kerry kicks Carter out, hinting that his "living with her" would present an ethical conflict. She was also going to mentor Lucy and had to renege (none too tactfully) on that agreement as well. In "Viable Options" Carter mentions that he is living with his grandmother (grandparents?) to Mark just before he lies about remembering Eddie Bernero's case. I believe it was the first time we have heard about his living arrangements since the season premiere. We did of course see him with Gamma (!) in her kitchen during his convalescence.

When we saw Carter with Gamma, didn't Gamma say she was so happy he had stopped by?? Maybe she said the late night in the kitchen was like when he stopped by in high school......I can't remember for sure. Since he is definetly there now, it would be interesting to know where he was during his fling with his cousin's ex-wife.

Actually, no, Kerry kicked Carter out in the sixth season premier "Leave it to Weaver", as a lot of you have said, and his liviing arrangements have not been mentioned since other than when he said that he was living with his grandparents in "Viable Options".
