BAD news...

greenspun.com : LUSENET : It's All About Joe 90: The Discussion Board : One Thread

from CDNow, incase you guys haven't already heard:

Adam Duritz makes a better frontman than a record company executive. After just two years of operation, the Counting Crows singer's "small indie-spirited record label," E Pluribus Unum Recordings (whose ownership he shares with the band's two managers), has been released from its contract with Interscope. According to an E Pluribus Unum spokesperson, the label will temporarily shut its doors while searching for another deal. "We're restructuring," is the official word. Meanwhile, the fate of label's artists -- Joe 90, Duke Daniels, Gigolo Aunts, and Neilson Hubbard -- remains uncertain. The spokesperson says they will stay on board until E Pluribus Unum finds a new home. Some Internet reports have labeled them as "free agents." We'll keep you posted. (Aidin Vaziri)

i wonder if this means all of the remaining tour dates are canceled or if they are still on (maybe so since i'm sure they're getting paid for them)? this is so sad! but, then again, all of the artists on e pluribus are so extremely talented, i'm sure they'll be able to find a new label.
