Clutch Problems 2000 Yamaha YZ 250/125

Product defect, or what? My 2000 YZ 250 with less than 3 hours of riding time, is having major clutch problems. Draging, sliping, shatterd plates, etc. Anybody heard anything? I'v heard about some other people having problems as well. My 99 was bullet proof. "What's up with YAMAHA!"

I have a Y2K 250 and so far haven't had any problems.. Are you changing the oil after every time you ride it?

I have a 00 Yz 125 and the clutch was fine, but after 25 hours it started to wear.

I HAVE A 00 YZ 125 . I'VE BEEN RIDING IT EVERY TUSDAY AND THURSDAY AND RACING IT ON WEEKENDS SINCE DECEMBER AND HAVE'NT HAD ANY PROBLEMS. ON MY 99 THE INNER PLATE WAS SHATTERED AFTER ABOUT A MONTH OF RIDING AND CHANGING THE OIL REGULARY . SO THE 99 CLUCHES ARE NOT BULLET PROOF . i GEUSS IT'S HOW YOU USE THE CLUCH TO.
