Leveling the playing field.

Should OK consider blood doping this year? The time is now to prepare our thin blood for the rigors of relay competition! On the other hand, there are certain health risks associated with blood doping. With thicker blood comes the possibility of coronary complications. If we do decide to go this route, we'll have to monitor everything very carefully.

A case in point: In 1998, a certain club's 4pt relay team all but admitted to blood doping. Hey, they were basically shooting up right there in front of everybody at the changeover zone. They came in 2nd that year. In 1999, the same club's top team decided for whatever reason against "hemoglobin enhancement". I think they ended up something like 6th that year. They learned their lesson! I'm sure they'll be back at it again this year.

If you wanna compete, you gotta cheat!!! That's the way it is and that's the way it always will be. Isn't it time for OK to level the playing field?

If you really want to 'cheat' then let's invest in a hypoxic tent (www.hypoxictent.com) so we can sleep high and train low. Only $5K for the introductory model...
