Make sure you have selected line in, In your OS volume control's. Also in your ATI control's, there's a audio setting,Much like the OS volume controls,All set at zero as default,Turn them up to Max, you'll need it. 32MB version does not have this option, or need it. An update will fix the audio problem.

I have noticed that when your start the ATI programs, all potis of the volum control are in a 0 state. You have to adjust them manually, in input or output. Be careful with the cables, and make a separate link of the video cable and the audio cable beetween the VCR and the PC.

I just downloaded ATI MMC 7.1 for Win 2k and also grabbed the new beta drivers needed. The installation went fine although the ATI Teletype driver has some conflict. When I try to bring up TV, though, I hear audio but it hangs the whole computer. Any thoughts? I'm using a Tyan Trinity 400 mobo (Via Apollo 133A) and ATI AIW 128 (16 Mb).

The only problem I have found with MMC 7.1 is the audio when you start the TV tuner. Every time you first start it up you have to go in to set up and reselect line in, it keeps defaulting to Microphone when MMC 7.1 is closed. It sometimes keeps the settings for a couple of times closing and opening it, but if you power cycle the PC you have to reselect line in for your audio card for the audio to work correctly. Once this is done the TV tuner works fine for TV and Video capture. I haven't seen a bug fix for it yet and I submitted it to ATI, but their web site still says no confirmed reported problems for MMC 7.1. I hope they come out with an update soon; it’s a real pain to have to remember to select your sound source every time you want to use it.
