Being a late arrival in the departures lounge for Wembley, I am now pondering how to get there and back. I don't mind the cost, but reckon that most of the trains and Busses will now be full. As I mentioned on another thread I can get there with Screacher if I want to , but he goes back to Cheshire. So does anyone have space for another passenger? I don't fancy driving doon on my own.

The trains back to the North East are booked up well into Monday. You might be better off keeping Screach company up to the West Coast and see if you can get a train back accross the Pennines. Just a thought...

What about that guy with space in his BMW?

Hey this is great. Others have to pay to have people arrange their travel plans for them. I just leave it to you lot! Unfortunately, I'm not even likely to be coming back to Cheshire after the match as I have an appointment in Kent on Tuesday (a bit daft driving up only to turn round and drive back again!).

Anyone travelling down/back from/to Manchester ?

Sorry Screacher! I reckon Rik will have to get a train up that side of the country and then get one across; East Coast is chokka.

I can remember someone posting something about a BMW 7 series. Was it on here somewhere? I can't find it in the old threads, maybe I'm not looking in the right direction. The train ticket might be a good option, if it's still available, but I think I'd prefer to leave VERY early on Sunday morning. I'll give a few people an E mail tonight to see if they've got any space. Next question though is.... Those of you going on Saturday, where are you kipping on the Saturday night. Anyone got a spare floor in London?

Ace, It's on the Unanswered messages thread. Here's the detail:
I am looking for two lads to share costs to the semi on april 9th. I have looked at the bus trips and the travel time is 8 hours each way, not for me thank you. So myself and friend Steve are setting off sat noon and staying overnight trouble is I drive a BMW 730i it eats the petrol reckon it will cost #100 but split four ways #25 each and you'll be there & back in 4 hours and may I add in luxury. (hotels are available on the web for about #59 for a twin with breakfast) p.s. you must enjoy a laugh !!!

Thanks for that one Stu, Does anyone know this Aaron?. I just found out that my Nephew might have a spare seat on the mini bus that he and his mates have, So I'll try that one first. Any more suggestions?

Ace,I left it too late for a train booking, so have booked a seat on a bus. It's #25 on an "executive coach" (netty, TV, video) with Soccer Express (?), leaving the Central Stn. at 6am and returning 45mins after FT. I'm sure I read in the paper yesterday that they still had a few seats left.
The tel. no is 0870-603-0028

Those of you travelling down to London on Saturday need not worry about delays at St******e. According to the Journal, the team are travelling on Friday. And Barton is finalizing the first big booking for his new company. He's sending a Chelsea to Hong Kong on Saturday. :-)
