i have some 720x480 vob files. if i convert them to 352x240 mpeg1 or 352x288mpeg1 they look fine. but if i convert them to 480x480mpeg1, or 704x480mpeg1, they get strange lines during motion. i have tried FLASKMPEG, MPEG-VCR, and DVD2MPG SQUEEZER, all with the same result. ive used bitrates from 1150 up to 8000, so thats not it. i suspect it has something to do with what Blackout is experiencing, but how do i fix it? i am using mediaplayer and a Creative Dxr2 for playback. any thoughts?
