I could use some input on macro techniques with digital cameras. I have a Kodak DC-260 with the add-on close-up lenses, but I'm having significant difficulties getting the shots I want. I am shooting coins, and have a copy board with two lights, using 100w plant lights. But I am unable to get even the minimal depth of field needed for a coin, and the colors vary from shot to shot. DOes anyone have any current recommendations or techniques I might try? I feel as though I'm tried every possible combination except the right one! Thanks.
