Ajax Fanshop ("Ajax Direct")

Is it just me or do other people have problems contacting "Ajax Direct"? All i wanted to ask was if they still carry Champions League products from 2 years ago. Anyone ever purchased from Ajax Direct before?

Dear Damien,

I was in the Arena fan shop in August and bought both the blue Ajax away as well as the black goalkeeper jersey. You can put any name and any number on the back (20 Euro) and the CL badge (the ball) and the blue CL cup with a "4" on it on the sleeves (at an extra 5 euro per item). At this moment i am awaiting the yellow GK jersey which will be personalized with name, number and both badges as well. I believe you can contact the Ajax fan shop by email and they will help you out with international orders but i am not sure what their email address is. I believe you can find it on the ajax.nl website. If you need more assistance just email me ok?

Hey, am I dreaming....?

Check the Ajax.nl homepage. There's a 'Union Jack' logo, which links you to a very minimal, 'under construction' English version. They're currently trying to hire someone to do the rest of the translating.

One of the thnigs already available is the English version of the Fanshop. And guess what: it seems like it finally has a simple, clear structure, and it seems like it's working? Can someone pinch my arm?

Check it out and come back to this thread to tell us what you think...

Response to Contacting Ajax Shop

I am living in Amsterdam myself, so I buy my Ajax stuff in regular fanshops in downtown Amsterdam. I'm lucky not being dependent of Ajax Direct, cos I've heard really bad stories about them. Sometimes, it takes them two months to ship orders. I can't believe Ajax' foreign policy...

However, if you can reach Ajax Direct, you'll find what you want: the Champions League stuff is still available. Actually (this is not a joke), they've sold more Jari Litmanen merchandise this year, than merchandise of any current player. There's plenty of De Boer, Blind, Litmanen and Kluivert stuff, as well as Ajax - AC Milan Champions Final '95 scarfs.

What can I say... "Keep trying"?
