Ahhh..MLS is back. And the second half of tonight's game delayed while someone went in search of an AWOL player. A few minutes later, Lothar Matheus wanders up the tunnel sharing a smile and joke with the crowd and fellow players as he saunters onto the pitch. Comment from the tv announcer, "I guess when you're 39 years old it takes a bit longer to get back out after half time." This was a few minutes after theorizing that perhaps the shock of NY/NJ being 2 goals up over DC United had caused the missing player(identity unknown at that point) to faint.

NY/NJ was one of the worst teams in the league last season. DC the best. Last season. heh.

Whoa! Another goal! 3-0 to NY/NJ! This is looking like the MLS equivalent to Howay 5-0. I'm off to watch the rest.
