Pre-Wembley jitter

Just heard Robbie Elliot on 5 Live saying it was always his dream to play an FA cup final for Newcastle. And the next best thing will be putting in the winning goal against us in the final.

And the April page in Four Four Two's calendar thingy is Bolton's appearance in the first FAC final held at Wembley. Which they won 2-0.

We're getting Bolton in the final.

I'll just go back to reading Principia Dougalia now. Riveting stuff! :-)

Well what's the consensus folks? I was going to stay here, but am only around for most of the first half anyhow. Boohoo! the New England Revolution decided 1030am on a Saturday is a good time to hold the volunteers meeting. argh! If it weren't for the fact we're a week behind UK in turning our clocks ahead I wouldn't get to hear anything.

Hmmm....mebbes Bolton would be a fine fine opponent for the final after all. Just read this on nufc.com:
As for the other Semi-final this weekend, Bolton were set earlier this week to return up to 10,000 unsold tickets. Very poor.

So..erm....when do final tickets go on sale? I hear notloB is lovely in April. And I'll have a few days to kill between the semi and WHam. A day out on Virgin Trains might be nice..... ;-)
