Hit and Run

I watched Hit and Run on TNT on Wednesday and I was rather impressed. However, nowhere in that episode did Carter help a woman give birth to a baby. I read the summary, I looked in my little ER companion, he was suppossed to help give birth to a baby. I watched it three more times, thinking I must have missed it, but did anyone else watching this rerun notice this scene was missing? Or was it?

I noticed that it was missing too. That is one of my favorite parts in the show. I've noticed that when they show the reruns on TNT they cut out some things. Sometimes they're just minor little thing but that seemed like it was a big scene. I wish that they wouldn't cut out stuff when they show the reruns.

Speaking of cutting stuff out, I think different parts of the US may get slightly different versions. I downloaded a clip of "All in the Family" that showed Kerry finding Carter and Lucy. On the downloaded version,Kerry opened the door and you see the inside of the room with Carter and Lucy on the floor. Then you see Kerry screem and lunge forward at them. Here in Arizona, the version I have taped is different. You see Kerry look at the bloody foot print, open the door and the you see her face and she screems. Thats it. You don't the the inside of the room any you don't see Kerry move forward to help them. Just thought that was kind of weird that they were different. I wonder what else is different. I'm curious as to what versions of this every one else got.

Allysa, I think everyone has the same version. In the east coast, i saw the same thing as you did. But when I found a website that had the full clips of the stabbing scene, I also saw the part where we see a glimpse of Carter and Lucy on the floor unconscious and Kerry was rushing to help them. I think the producers edited this part out. If you look at the preview for "All in the Family" after the episode of "Be Still My Heart", we see a glimpse of an overhead shot of Carter and Lucy unconscious on the floor. Sometimes what we see in the previews don't often carry-over to the episode itself. I would assume that the author of the webpage must have put it together piece by piece using the clips from both the previews and the episode.
