What about last night's preview?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread

I taped last night's eppy just to catch the preview for next week. My dad inadvertantly switched channels so I didn't get to see them. Anyone care to fill me in on it? Thanks!

Well, the announcer guy said something to the effect of "every doctor messes up sometimes. But what happens when they do it all at once?" which sort of mentions that just maybe, there will be some confrontation next week!

I was wondering if Carter's hair is shorter because Noah Wyle is doing FAIL SAFE in a couple of weeks. I'd assume it would be set in the early 1960's (the original came out in 1964 or so), so he'd have to have short, short hair for the role.

After the announcer said "every doctor messes up sometimes. But what happens when they do it all at once?" I thought he said somthing like "somebody will have to pay the price" and they showed Romano looking at Carol.

Do you think that is how Carol is going to leave the show? Will she get fired? Just a thought.

Diana, I think you might be right. Noah Wyle definitely looks like he has shorter hair in the promo shots they have been showing for Fail Safe. Personally, I like it short!

Yvette, I noticed Romano looking at Carol too. I think she might get blamed for something in all the commotion which leads to her quitting eventually. Can't wait to see!

Carla, That's what I thought...quitting or getting fired!

Actually, I think what happened was that Kerry came out of speaking to ROmano and slammed something down next to Carol angrily, and Carol looked back at Romano to see what had happened...

I don't think the confrontation has to do with Carol, because during the previews Romano has the doctors gathered around and mentions something about "never seeing so much incompetence..." or something like that. I think the look between Carol and Romano might be one of shared aggravation. Nurses often get blamed for doctor's mistakes. She might know a mistake is being made, but can't say anything. I can't wait till next week.. On another note, I love Dr. Carter's hair.

Considering the previews that NBC has been dishing out to us recently, I'm sure it has nothing to do with Carol, they're just making us think it does.

As for Noah's short hair, I don't think it was for the movie,"Fail Safe", because the movie will be shown live. Each eppy is filmed 4-6 weeks in advance which means he cut his hair sometime in the beginning of march. But the movie is still a month away and by that time his hair would grow back. It wouldn't make sense for him to cut his hair twice. Also if you guys saw the interview of Noah Wyle & George Clooney for their movie on ET and Access Hollywood, Noah had his hair long as it used to be.

The clip for the movie Fail Safe showed Noah Wyle's hair very short. Maybe he cut it short early to get used to it. The movie airs life on April 9-week after next.

Okay, more on the short hair (which I don't like, BTW)...there are promo shots on the web site for CBS for Fail Safe. Even though the production is live, there had to be photos, etc. made for publicity purposes. Those were probably made a couple of weeks ago at least. Probably longer because I think I've been seeing the ad on CBS at least that long.

At first I thought the hair was weird, but I've already gotten used to it. Very cute, in a way! Maybe even a sign of Carter's character. Anyway, judging on what Romano says to the whole staff about total incompetence, I'm guessing that every doctor in the ER is going to have an off day.

If Carol leaves along the same lines Doug did (making a mistake and getting either fired or close enough to want to quit) I will be pissed! It has to have to do with her little amount of time she has for her daughters.

The preview goes like this: The teaser starts out with Romano talking to everyone and scolding them. Then the announ. says One doctor can make a mistake(shows Carter) but what if they all do it at once?(shows everyone) Then Mark attacks someone. They are fighting over what they gave a patient, and Kerry slams a clipboard down in front of Carol and walks out.

I finally saw the preview for tonight's epi while watching West Wing last night. I do not think Romano was looking at Carol like she did something wrong. I think she witnessed some type of confrontation between Romano and Kerry and was just looking back at him. I can't wait to see tonight's epi--it looks good!

For goodness' sake, NW is incredibly cute no matter what. BUT, I do personally like the longer hair better. :) Just my 2 cents.

I know everone has seen the episode by now, but I really liked it, so here's the preveiw: Any one doctor can make a mistake... but when it happens to everyone at once, someone must take the fall. (Kerry slams chart on admit desk)
