Fulham have sacked Bracewell........greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread |
....cos they've dropped to 10th in the First Division.......will this resurrect the Eric Cantona line again, or will Fayed have someone else lined up.

Mr Gullit ???????

Just read somewhere(sporting life? planetfootbal?) that Joe Kinnear is the front runner. Then again he's been linked to every team to lose/or about to lose their manager this season.

Joe K is also supposed to be the front runner for the Sheffield Wednesday job. With his heart history, Fulham would probably be a better bet.

Well, one thing's for sure. I won't be me, based on the Corinthian League table. In fact, with Screacher's Creatures current run of form, I could well be next in line behind Brace in the dole queue.

Never happen Screacher.....what would we all do without your wonderful calming influence round here.......Mr Wind-up would be uncontrolable and would not doubt make us all write in invisisble ink!

From Football365FULHAM MAY GO FOR GULLIT Fulham could be eyeing former Newcastle boss Ruud Gullit to take over at Craven Cottage at the end of the season. Karlheinz Riedle was this morning confirmed as caretaker manager at the club, as they moved the experienced German international into the hotseat after sacking Paul Bracewell. He will take temporary charge of team affairs until the end of the season, starting with Saturday's Division One derby at home to Crystal Palace.

All I can say is that El Fayed deserves TDO, and vice versa - a marriage made in heaven.
