Given and Harpers places as joint No 1 don't look under threat, but with Karelse, Given and Martin all likely to leave, Newcastle will want a number 3 goalie "for the future".

The Ronnie reported that Karelse, Perez and Ian Martin (youth keeper) would be leaving in the close season, leaving only Given and Harper.
