Hi, I new in photography. Is there anyone can tell me about Canon EOS300. I just bought this camera and it is made in Taiwan. Is all the Canon EOS300 that sell in Singapore are made in Taiwan and whether the craftsmanship is good as the one that made in other countries eg: Japan. Secondly, i bought it before i manage to read some of the articles from internet that this camera are not so good because of is plastic mount or plastic construction. Will the lenses become a bit loose or not so tie after a long period(3 years above)when it attached to the camera body? Shall i separate the len with body if not using for a long period? Third, i keep this camera in normal dry air box cost me around S$50. Will fungus grow inside the len and body after a long period? Anyone can advise about my questions and give comments/rate about this Canon EOS300 SLR camera. Thank you.

I'm not too sure about the quality of Taiwan made Canon products but it can't be that bad.
Unless u are mounting a heavy lens and holding its weight by the body or rough use, I don't see what's wrong with plastic mount.
Why don't u try getting a dry cabinate instead? You can get a small one for about $150 or so.
