Nice try Dunc, but there's already a Tickets sought section...

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

Dunx, if ever anyone deserved to queue jump, it's you. I'll let you know how things turn out - I've been offered a chance at 2 but might only need the one.

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

So now we're playing favourite by allowing queue jumping?

ahhh just like the old bbs already....

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

I was merely in awe of the honesty of a man who has the ability to delete every message from all other supplicants. I could never aspire to that level of integrity :-)

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

Gav,

Anyone found queue jumping will be deleted and their ticket given to me....how does that sound?

;-)

I may be getting 4 for our corporate box at work. Will keep you posted.

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

Softie were you one of them lads who used to take a bag o' raisins in for the teacher every day ;-)

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

Hah! If only. My Dad was my class teacher for years. Clouted more than anyone else to prove there was no favouritism, had to call him 'Mr Softie' instead of 'Dad', never had the chance to pretend I didn't have any homework and was avoided as a potential stoolie when high jinks were in the offing (takes out onion) it was tough for me at school. sniffle. blub.

I think Rik should get the first one spare, If anyone disagrees, poat a reply on here

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

I'll have a spare when I win my pair from John Beresford' site. Will let yous know when they arrive.

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

Coorporate box Dougal? That is grossly unfair. All tickets for the semi should have been distributed to the 2 clubs. It's a disgrace. I've a good mind to send my 4 complimentary tickets back!!

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

Has he been setting the font colour to white again?

Ahhh....the Eastern US wakes up, rubs it's eyes, fires up the 'puter at work and says...

HI!! Yes! I Still need a ticket!! Purty please with loads of Brown Ale! :-D

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

I disagree with Rik getting first dibs since he hasn't been on this bbs as long as some of the rest of us :)) plus he's already got a gorgeous wife so it'd be really unfair!

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

Why dont we come up with a serious way of giving out any spare tickets and those who've got any own up ? Then there should be some kind of quiz or someinc .. thatd be a lot fairer than the current im harder than you , my Dads bigger than yours , ive got further to travel thread here ... Howay man , its only a semi-final we;re talking about here not life or death ;-) Ive got an idea why dont the offending tickets ( bearing in mind someone might have one like ;-) ) , get given to the winner of a competition ... like drink the most pints then snog the most BBS'ers on semi day .. or fastest up wembley way and back . Any ideas ?

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

Sting I could kiss you.....would that count towards my snogging total ;))

I'm all right jack cos I've got one thanks to a friend, I suppose whoever has any spares is perfectly entitled to distribute them to whoever they want.....still I must admit that It leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you've been passed over by someone on the bbs for someone else who asked for help after you....

I guess it'll always come down to people's own conscience's.....

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

Thats not fair and you know it Gav how exactly would you solve the situation if for instance you had a spare ticket and didnt knaa what to do with it eh eh eh ? This is not a cush situation to be in :-)

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

Easy Gav, I don't have any tickets to offer yet, but I do reckon that we all owe Duncan big time for setting this place up for us in about 12 hours flat. A World of difference from coming on and promising them to whoever asks first and THEN picking and choosing, or wouldn't you agree?

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

I'm not feeling quite so blue anymore.

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

So i take it evryone agrees that tickets should be handed out on a favouritism basis only then ? Or am i right in assuming everyone has got thersels a ticket ?

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

If it wasn't for Dunx we wouldn't even be having this discussion. I think he is a pretty deserving case if anyone has a spare.

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

Have to agree..Dunx is certainly deserving of a ticket for all his hard work and efforts to keep us afloat. And for continuing to put up with us all. :-)

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

Dunx

I only need one ticket. You can have my spare when John Beresford sends me my prize.

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

Probably shouldn't have posted that response anyway but in my defence I must say that the rant was based on an experience two years ago and not on the current situation...

Sting, can't really answer your question truthfully cos it's hypothetical....I very very very rarely get spare tickets and when I do then I have family members I MUST put before friends on here :( I would however like to think that I'd do it on a first come first served basis.....and no I am in no way having a sly dig at anyone on here!

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

I think the oldest contributers on here should be considered first, for any spares, after all they've been waiting the longest. I know a few oldies on here that have never been to Wembley, and never will, cos they don't have any friends...... Then again, why dosen't anyone with a spare, do as NuFC does. Sell them to the highest bidder.

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

If after Dunx there's any spares - yes please. Free transport from Manchester to Womblee for the donor.

PS My Bolton friend reckons they've plenty spare - all you have to do is hide in the stadium for 7 days . . . .

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

Hey Josh....don't think that idea hasn't crossed my mind already....mind you, with my luck I would hide in the bogs, emerge the following Sunday and find that I was in the Chewsee end!

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

Well if you don't want to spend 7 days there, try the stadium tour the day before...cheaper and plenty of places to hide as they march you through the corp suites, production rooms, dressing rooms, hospital, royal box....not that I would ever do such a thing.....hmmmmm.....

-- Anonymous, March 28, 2000

Josh - you in manchester then ? I'm on a promise of a ticket (promises, promises...). So may well be looking for some fellow Manchester-based Geordie expats to travel down with. Know anyone else ?

-- Anonymous, March 29, 2000

I was at the box orifice this morning to get Bradford tickets so asked again about the semi and was told that they were pretty sure Connect Club members would take them all, but IF there were any spare an announcement would be made next week.

-- Anonymous, March 29, 2000

I may be travelling down from Manchester. Nee ticket yet mind, but hey, there's ower a week ti gaan yet.

Maybe also have to go before/come back after the w/e, depending on business commitments. Will post on here if aah'm gannin'

-- Anonymous, March 29, 2000

Just keeping the thread up there in case anyone forgets ;-)

-- Anonymous, March 31, 2000

NT - just tidying up after me.

-- Anonymous, March 31, 2000

Manchester Travel

I'll have a natter with the lads who are going and post any offers of lifts on here.

Mind you if Screach & Josh had a ticket we'd only need 1 more to fill a car . . . . . .

-- Anonymous, March 31, 2000

Just received this from the NUFC mailing list - may be of some use.

>From the official Chelsea website. Might be worth keeping an eye on in case there becomes a public sale for any of you London based listees.

URL: http://www.chelseafc.co.uk/chelsea/fr_news.htm

For the FA Cup Semi Final, Season Ticket holders are still entitled to buy an extra 2 tickets from the remaining allocation left. The tickets left are all 'Pillar in View' and in the reanges, stlg15, stlg35 and stlg50. If there is any change to this over the next few days details will be posted here.

-- Anonymous, April 03, 2000

Just been told from a cockney bastard ticket tout that the ticket that had my name on it has failed to materialise ("Got some in the Chelsea end if you're interested like").

So if ANYONE has any info about a spare one, PLEASE drop me a line. I will consider most prices.

Cheers
