Pilot Episode?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread

On TNT tonight they the had the episode "Day One". Is that the pilot episode? If not, where can you find it? I've heard maybe video stores. Thanks for helping out, if you can. :-)

Day One is actually the second episode. You can get the pilot at Amazon.com (at least you could as of a few months ago, when I did) - maybe at video stores too (I dunno).

Most Blockbuster video stores have ER's pilot episode, actually called "24 Hours," for rent- and maybe half of them have it for sale. You can always special order whatever is not in house, either there or at Columbia House Video.

maybe because "24 hours" is two hours, and tnt only has a one hour slot for er.

i don't know what "the longest day" part 1 and 2 are, cause there are no such titled episodes in the episode summaries. you might want to read the summary for "24 hours" and see if it matches up to the episodes you have for "the longest day" part 1 and 2...that is unless someone else can just clear it up right away

I have a copy of 'The Longest Day' and it IS the pilot, 24 hours, just a different name. Maybe TPTB had many different names for the pepisode, and that one made it onto a couple of stations!
