Our Awesome Test Scores

OK, I know that hardly anyone gets to brag about their test scores, ever, without sounding like a total nerd. So here's your chance! I'll start:

On the PSAT, I did not miss a single question on the verbal section. I don't remember what I got in math, but I do remember my guidance counselor looking like he'd won the lottery when he told me my score.

On the SAT, I scored OK: 690 Verbal, 700 Math: the only test in my entire life on which I scored higher in math than verbal.

I'm MOST proud of the ACT, though: 34, baby. Oh, yeah. I took that test by the ears and shook it back and forth until it cried for mercy.

OK, now it's your turn.

i feel like a big dork being the only person to respond to this question, but TOO BAD. standardized tests are the only thing i'm good at, anyway. i wonder if i can make a career out of taking other people's standardized tests for them. i'm no keith, but...

SAT: 700 verbal, 750 math. GRE: 740 verbal, 790 quantitative, 800 analytical. booyah!

I have often wished that being good at standardized tests was more useful in later life!

PSATs -- I spaced on them and forgot to go. (This was in 1972, I think, in tenth grade).

I took the SATs once and got 800 verbal, 720 math. So I took them again and got that 800 math, too.

I also wish more people would play trivial pursuit with me, for money.

I'm with you on the Trivial Pursuit thing, Anita. Nobody ever wants to play it with me anymore. Keith does sometimes, but he can usually kick my butt at it, so that's no good.

Anyone wants to come over to my place, I'll play you for a case of Coke or a bag of Doritos. I'm serious.
